SONG OF THE WEEK: FEAR FACTORY- ROBOTICIST

At long last, the first new Fear Factory song with new vocalist, Milo Silvestro! “Roboticist” is straight off the assembly line and drilled straight into your ears. Musically it’s classic Fear Factory in that it’s got a great groove, heavy riffs, thundering drums and the right amount of electronic and industrial soundscapes. Vocally it’s right there in the same lane. The harsh vocals really hit and the cleans come through with individuality as well as respect to the past. All together this is just the start of more new Fear Factory. Well done!

GUEST GUITARIST: DINO CAZARES

Dino Cazares is a riff machine and master. There is no denying the impact he’s had on heavy music since 1990 when Fear Factory released their first album Soul Of A New Machine till now. From that time he’s written countless memorable songs and riffs that I’m sure are still replaying in your head as you read this. Over the years besides Fear Factory, Divine Heresy, Asesino and Brujeria, Dino has lent his skills and riffs to other groups and projects that are pretty stellar as well. The songs he wrote with the other gents on the Roadrunner United album are some of my favorites! Take a few moments and check these Dino guest appearances.
