SONG OF THE WEEK: THE ANTI GROUPIES- I CAN’T

The Anti Groupies are one of the most exciting and best up and coming bands in all of the Southern California area! I’ve said it before about these ladies that they are the rock band we’ve been waiting for! They have the right attitude, songs, performance, can play their asses off and a great take no prisoners approach. Did I mention their songs?! Every song released since their inception has gotten better and better. Their most recent single “I Can’t” is one of the best “summer songs” I’ve heard in a long time. Not just that, it’s super anthemic in a fun catchy way. Cassidy, Isabella, Sydney and Kyla have a bond that not a lot of bands have and their authentic selves shine oh so bright. I’m personally quite excited for what’s to come for The Anti Groupies! Do yourself a favor check out this song and all their others, and make sure to go see them live!

The Anti-Groupies are band that I’ve been quite keen on for a while now. I’ve had the pleasure of booking a few shows with them over the past couple years and they’ve fast become one of my favorite LA bands. They have the songs, the musicianship, the right attitude, and a live show that will kick you in the teeth. So it’s not a surprise to me that these new songs that The Anti-Groupies are about to unveil have really taken things up a few notches. Their latest single/video for “Cigarette Slut” is a great representation of their kick ass rock and take no prisoners approach. Band Of The Week: The Anti-Groupies

Ever since I started putting on shows with The Cobalt Presents, I’ve come across a lot of up and coming bands. There have definitely been a handful of stand outs and this band of the week is one of them. Allow me to introduce you to The Anti-Groupies. These ladies are absolute rockers. They have the right attitude, style and the songs to back up their already in your face sound. Part of what makes The Anti-Groupies stand out is there on stage performance. They play with a reckless abandon and precision that is pretty rad to watch. Their latest single “Read The Room” is a solid example of their style coming to life. One other thing that I really like about The Anti-Groupies is their willingness to evolve and try things that can push the boundaries of rock music. Do yourself a favor and take a listen to The Anti-Groupies and tell your friends!
