Lamb Of God- Into Oblivion: This is the title track and 3rd single from their upcoming tenth album, Into Oblivion out March 13, 2026 via Epic Records. Full scale North American tour starts soon!
Filth Is Eternal- Stay Melted: I’ve been into Filth Is Eternal for quite some time. Their style of mixing hardcore, punk and grungy alternative music together makes for a fun listen. I was wondering when they would explore the use of melody more and here we go! Their new album, Impossible World, arrives on March 17! Very much looking forward to it!
Metal Allegiance- Black Horizon: Metal Allegiance for those of you that don’t know, is a band/jam group that features Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, Testament, etc. guitarist Alex Skolnick and Metal Allegiance bassist Mark Menghi. The band has a rotation of different vocalists perform with them including John Bush from Armored Saint/ex-Anthrax and Mark Osegueda from Death Angel and Kerry King’s band. This new song, “Black Horizon” is the bands first new material in a few years and features Alice In Chains vocalist/guitarist William DuVall.
Nothing- Toothless Coal: If you are into the new “shoegaze” era of music and you haven’t heard Nothing yet, then you must be living under a rock. Nothing are roaring back with the lastest single “Toothles Coal” from their upcoming new album, A Short History Of Decay that arrives on February 27th.
Gaerea- Phoenix: A little while back a friend of mine told me I should check out Gaerea and I’m glad I did. This might not be for everyone but, give it a chance. It may be Black Metal but there is melody!!!
Fotocrime- Plowjob: Fotocrime is a band that’s been on the Audioeclectica radar for a while now. If you are into electro post-punk then you’ll definitely be into this band. I personally am digging the added direction they’ve gone on this new song! Their new album, Security, arrives March 13th!!!
clubdrugs- Heart 2 Break: Recently I got an email about a new band to check out and as I always do, I listened. What I heard reminded me of a certain era of my listening journey and I quite enjoyed where it took me. With that, I present you, clubdrugs. This goth/pop/darkwave duo is going to be quite addictive as their debut album, Lovesick, comes out March 27th!
Trauma Ray- Hannibal: I’m really intrigued by all these new bands that are into shoegaze. The ones that really get it right of course are the ones I’m drawn into. The other day I heard the song “Hannibal” from Trauma Ray that made me play it on repeat for a solid 10 times. Trauma Ray is different than the rest of the shoegaze pack, thankfully! Instead of relying solely on being a “lush” band they really up the volume by adding hard charging riffs to the swooshes and swirls! Their new EP, Carnival, comes out February 20th!
