For over 25 years, Liam Gallagher has been one of the best voices in rock music. I’d also say he’s one of the best singers in that time as well. His style of singing is uniquely him while taking cues from the likes of John Lennon and John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten). Over the years, Liam hasn’t lent his vocals to many other bands but, on the ones he has, he’s given those songs a different feel. Here are the songs Liam has guested on over the years.

The other day Ozzy celebrated his 70th birthday. Funny enough, while I was on my way home that day, I had my iPod on random and the Rob Zombie song “Iron Head” came on and there was Ozzy singing on it. I had totally forgotten about Ozzy guesting on that song, so of course when I got home I looked up all the songs he’s guested on over the years. So, here’s a bunch of those songs.

Jamey Jasta is one of the hardest working guys in all of music. From his bands, Hatebreed, Kingdom of Sorrow and his own solo project Jasta, to his running of Stillborn Records, and his well known podcast The Jasta Show, there is no shortage of all things Jasta related out there. For many years now, Howard Jones has been a well respected vocalist in the heavy music world. From his time in Blood Has Been Shed to Killswitch Engage and now with Light The Torch (formerly known as Devil You Know), Howard’s voice and lyrics have resonated with countless amounts of people. Since Light The Torch is getting set to release their new album, Revival (out March 30), I thought it would be fun to put together a bunch of songs Howard has guested on over the years.

The way they deliver their lyrics, write songs, work out melodies, and even their stage presence, all this really grabs me and makes me feel like I’m a part of the song. One singer in particular that I’ve really loved for over 20 years now is, Scooter Ward of Cold. His ability to do all the above and be as open and vulnerable as he is, is a statement to the honest approach he takes to music. Cold is currently working on a new album, which is pretty exciting. Though in the mean time, until it’s released, check out a few songs that Scooter has guested on over the years.

There are so many different types of “screaming.” Some of the frontmen and frontwomen, really have a unique presence and sound to their scream. Mike Patton is one of the most prolific vocalists in music. Notice how I didn’t just say rock! Patton has one of the most unique voices and ranges too. All of the projects he has been a part of are interesting and fun. I’ve always been fond of Mr. Bungle and Peeping Tom especially.
