Jamey Jasta is one of the hardest working guys in all of music. From his bands, Hatebreed, Kingdom of Sorrow and his own solo project Jasta, to his running of Stillborn Records, and his well known podcast The Jasta Show, there is no shortage of all things Jasta related out there. In between all the above, Jamey has lent his vocals to quite a few band’s songs over the years. Here are a few of my favorites he has guested on.
For many years now, Howard Jones has been a well respected vocalist in the heavy music world. From his time in Blood Has Been Shed to Killswitch Engage and now with Light The Torch (formerly known as Devil You Know), Howard’s voice and lyrics have resonated with countless amounts of people. Since Light The Torch is getting set to release their new album, Revival (out March 30), I thought it would be fun to put together a bunch of songs Howard has guested on over the years.

There are certain singers that I truly feel captivated by. The way they deliver their lyrics, write songs, work out melodies, and even their stage presence, all this really grabs me and makes me feel like I’m a part of the song. One singer in particular that I’ve really loved for over 20 years now is, Scooter Ward of Cold. His ability to do all the above and be as open and vulnerable as he is, is a statement to the honest approach he takes to music. Cold is currently working on a new album, which is pretty exciting. Though in the mean time, until it’s released, check out a few songs that Scooter has guested on over the years.
Scooter Ward & Tony Iommi- Something Wicked This Way Comes:
Over the last decade or so, screaming vocals have really become a staple in heavy music. There are so many different types of “screaming.” Some of the frontmen and frontwomen, really have a unique presence and sound to their scream. One person in particular, Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God, is a perfect example of this. The following songs are ones Randy has lent his unique voice to over the years.
Enjoy!

I have long been a fan of Axl Rose. I was even him for Halloween once when I was 4 or 5. Not only does Axl have one the best and most recognizable voices in music but, he has lent his talents to some other bands over the years. Take a listen to Axl guesting on these songs.

Axl also sang on Don Henley’s “I Will Not Go Quietly” from the album The End Of Innocence.
Mike Patton is one of the most prolific vocalists in music. Notice how I didn’t just say rock! Patton has one of the most unique voices and ranges too. All of the projects he has been a part of are interesting and fun. I’ve always been fond of Mr. Bungle and Peeping Tom especially. Here are a few of the songs Mr. Patton has guested on over the years.

I will go on record saying that James Hetfield is one of the most underrated singers and guitarists EVER! And even though he’s been busy with Metallica for the past 30 plus years, James still finds time to do some guest spots on other bands albums. Here are some of the songs James has guested on over the years.

This past year Saosin returned with a great new album, and their first since 2003 to feature original singer Anthony Green. You might know Anthony from the band Circa Survive, which he started after leaving Saosin. His voice is very unique and interesting. He’s got a very high pitched singing voice and one of the best higher screams I’ve heard. Since the new Saosin album Along The Shadows came out, I’ve been listening to it a lot and it’s quite good. It also got me wondering what other songs Anthony has guested on over the years. So here you go!
A Life Once Lost- All Teeth:
Envy On The Coast- The Gift of Paralysis:
Fear Before the March of the Flames- My Deer Hunter:
This morning I woke up with the Incubus song “A Certain Shade Of Green” in my head. So I thought I’d go on an Incubus kick. I also wondered what other songs Brandon has guested on over the years. Well the following are those songs he has appeared on.
