I remember when I first heard Gojira. I thought this is great and I need to see this band. Sadly I missed them the first couple times they came through Los Angeles. Then a couple years ago I finally caught them with Mastodon, and they were everything I wanted them to be. From that point I’ve been craving a new Gojira album. The last album L’ Enfant Sauvage is one hell of an album. With the release of their new song “Stranded” from their upcoming album MAGMA, Gojira are well on their way to being one of the best metal bands in the world.

Anticipated Albums: Deftones- Gore

I really don’t feel the need to write a lengthy explanation of why this new Deftones album is very anticipated. The band just released the first single “Prayers/Triangles” from their forthcoming album GORE. This song is the first track on the album and it has a vibe that seems to set up a very adventurous yet very Deftones-esque album. Check it out!!!

Back in 2013 after many years away from Killswitch Engage, singer Jesse Leach came back to the band. The result was astounding and the album Disarm The Descent that marked his return was fantastic. Now in 2016, the band is back and ready to unleash their next album, Incarnate. March 11th can’t come soon enough!!!

Anticipated Albums of 2014

Crosses (featuring Chino Moreno and Shaun Lopez) are gearing up to release their full length debut on February 11, 2014 through Sumerian Records. The first single and accompanying video (featured above) “Bitches Brew” is an intoxicating sexual beast. It features a very sultry groove and beat, that invokes some R&B love making soul then switches gears to an awesome rock track. Be on the look out for when they hit your city on tour. Their live show is very intimate and makes you want to dance.
